The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of
ST DAVID, THE Prince of Wales and WALE'S CAPTAIN
Happy St David's day

I always think it's hilarious that these big rugby players need help to get dressed!
I'm waiting for the trainer to blow their noses for them too one of these days!

You would think it would be Best but I feel he may well be given a rest this weekend. Could see Kearney or Sexton get the job. Or he might start ROG and make him captain.
Who knows. Kidney probably hasn't got a clue himself.

Maybe Rava although I think Sexton has enough on his plate already.
Heaslip? If he keeps his place?
Kearney wouldn't be a bad shout though.

Honestly, I'm not on a wum on the captain question. Best is a possible I guess.
But who will Kidney go for?

Hound in the past when Kidney talked about his leaders it was BOD, POC, Best and ROG. If Best plays then I would expect it will be him.

Best is probably the one with most experience as a Captain but if he's rested I'm not sure who.
Play ROG just so he can wear the armband?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
ROG hasn't worked as captain in the past. I'd be stunned if it wasn't Best. Having said that though I am still constantly stunned with Kidney's decisions.
One thing is for sure POC is a big miss. I wouldn't be at all surprised if we finished fourth.

MrsP - I quite like full backs as captains. They have a good view of how a game is panning out. GM at Tigers is a good example. Makes the right calls for the team.
I expect 606v2 to explode with righteous indignation whoever gets the job.

Seems he was exaggerating then. A credit squeeze on their customers would look likely though. Knock on effect on the Pro12 sponsorship deal?

Doubtful. Contracts will have been signed. They could try and renegociate, but the league is successful enough so will probably tell them where to go. Besides I reckon what with the Jubilee, Olympics, Euros and more 2012 ain't going to be as bad as people are making out.

Scotland buggering off could have unforeseen consequences for the rest of the UK. They have the potential to be Celtic Tiger II, if they could only realise that socialism needs a breather for the first decade.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
The Rabo is the most solid bank in Western Europe. Not the richest, but cooperatively owned, with strict rules, and it did not get or need massive hand-outs like ABN-AMRO or ING. Or like most every other bank in Europe for that matter.
Its solid. The Celtic League is lucky to have us. Yes, I've been with them for yonks. As a paid up member, I help feed ye trolls.
Gas thing is, it was an Irish Bank that caused it most harm,
That statement, is them pushing the Dutch Govt to alter and recharge the Clog Mortgage sector.
PRO12 is safe.
Nos da. En slaap lekker.

Actually,
Now I've woken up I have to say that Bikkies post was much more clever.
So clever in fact that it initally sailed right over my not yet quite awake head.
I've got some coffee now and am more able to attempt to keep pace with his cleverness!

bore da pawb/good morning all, hope everyone's well
Anyone want to trade places with me in work today? I've got to carry out an environmental audit at a site I don't know how to get to, and they've failed to sent me any of the documents I need so I can't even plan for it properly. Honestly, it should be a really fun and stress free afternoon. Any takers?

Bore da pawb / good morning all, chilly this morning but the sun's shining and I've got the week off work!
I doubt I'll be in as often as usual this week - I've got a new puppy who's already taking up a lot of my time...
