The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of
ST DAVID, THE Prince of Wales and WALE'S CAPTAIN
Happy St David's day

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Well Cari, you know just how lovely he is having met the bloke.
The bright side is that since the O's home games are a bit out of the way for you anyway you will probably get to see him "in the flesh" (easy tiger) just as often. Just that he will have an Ulster shirt on over that flesh rather than an O's one.
You can live with that, can't you?
But I know how we all felt when he left for the Os. Happy that it was the right move for him but soo sad to see him leave.

MrsP - he could be wearing an England shirt and it wouldn't bother me....well OK, maybe a bit....that would be a bit extreme, I mean that's like cross dressing...a bit...strange....anyhoo, yes he IS a lovely lovley man. Credit to his folks all right. They must be chuffed he'll be nearby. I probably would be able to get to Belfast more often than the Lib, which sounds odd, but it's easier to organise an overnighter than an all nighter if that makes sense. Only bhugger will be funding...maybe I could set up a charity page:

I've never flown from Bristol, I'd go from Cardiff or even Heathrow (if desperate) is easier than Bristol I think. Anyway, I shall cross that sea when I come to it....
I'm off for a shower and to listen to some suitably depressing tunes.
Thanks All

Good evening pub, "The Gaffer" is out at Zumba (?) on a Tuesday, so I'm indulging myself with the Military History channel and my Tueasday night staple of sausage, bacon & eggs!
Luvverly!
I hope everyone else is having a good day.

Notch wrote:Oof, more bad news for Ireland. Rory Best has a rib injury. He hasn't been ruled out of the starting line-up but Varley has come into the squad as cover.
It's a double blow if he is out because not only will we be losing another key part of our lineout after O'Connell, he's also the most likely to take over the Captaincy.
Man, I near feel sorry for Deccie. He is missing 3 or 4 (backs, forwards, conditioning and fitness elements) key parts of his coaching team (most beyond his control). Now, he is possibly going to miss having one of our best and most consistent players over the past year. And his new Captain.
Feel the love Deccie. Im with ya this weekend. But not too happy with the shambles that is the IRFU. They are patently not giving him the help he so badly needs.
Great news for Ulster fans today. Delighted for ye. THE Two Irish International wingers back in in situ for their Province. Great news.

Evening Gibbo .
Could be a chance for some of the fringe players to put in a bit of a show.
Except for DK's picking the team again...

Got a thirst on now though .
(I was wondering who the other one was too MrsP... I never thought TB would be going anywhere else to be honest, but you never know till the deal is done do you?)

Nope, dodgy syntax MrsP, but I guess English is Gibbo's 3rd language after Dub-Dutch and Jibberish.
