The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Belfast
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Belfast, as Red Stag is still struggling to come to terms with Munsters QF loss to Ulster
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Brian McLaughlin, John Hart, Duncan Bell, Michael Lynagh, Mick O'Driscoll, Deiniol Jones and Shane Williams.
Get well "Noddy" Lynagh - our thoughts are with you.

you know, I'm expecting changes to the Scarlets team. We have Iongi down on the bench, but he is currently playing for Llanelli against Pontypool, IN Pontypool. He can't play 2 games in a day, surely?!

Good luck to both of you.
Let's hope it's a good close game and Munster win by about 13.

Bollix last game and our biggest defeat of the season 46 - 5 away to Glyncoch who are now Champions (Played 18, Won 18, 14 TBP) and they still have 4 games left of their season
We end up - Played 22, Won 12, Drawn 1, Lost 9, will probably finish 5th out of 12

Everyone out enjoying themselves?
Great Premiership game at the Stoop. 43-33 to Leicester with a BP. They must be big favourites for the playoffs now.
LBP for Hounds Wasps so hopefully that will be enough to keep them up.
LI get an away win at Worcs and Sale look like pinching the last HC qualifying spot after a good win at Kingsholm. Glaws are in turmoil at the present time.

Evening all,
Great day out at LS, they managed to get a TBP to stay up. Bloody great to see its an amazing club and the atmosphere around the place deserves playing at their highest level.
FOOTNOTE
Room in the Triple Crown had been booked for the heino final. It's going to work out at about 10-15 pound a head but were getting food and a Keg for that, so all in all its a great deal.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Belfast
Saw a bloke in the super market there wearing a Munster shirt. I know that shouldn't bug me but it did. Can't remember the last Ulster shirt I saw up here.
It's a sad situation when someone feels more of an affinity with a province 3 hrs drive away than your own. Thats NI for you.
Rant over.
Come on Munster.....

The IRB are making a monkey out of Roland. He has so many options as to who to penalise, his choosing to penalise holding on but not for not releasing the tackler is making him look Munster biased. He can't win poor fellow.

Glas please do me and you a favour and watch a good rugby game instead of looking for any reason to blame the ref.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Belfast
I would have thought Zebo got it down but I may be a bit biased. Hammered Clonakilty 32-0 today, fricking delighted after a previous "incident".
It's great playing the Welsh, you beat them or lose to them they still give out about the ref.

I thought it was try a Thomond.
Not sure what Rava thinks but that was more clear cut than one Muller was awarded last night.

Good first half. Anyone's game. Scarlets just need to cut out the little errors that are giving Nunster turnover ball at crucial times

On the phone so will have to leave you, but not a bad first half, 2 tries and playing poor enough, a bonus is there for the taking. Secure the win first.

I thought Zebo's was a good try. I think I could still be looking at Muller's trying to make up my mind. If it hadn't been awarded I don't think we could have complained too much.
