The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Belfast
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Belfast, as Red Stag is still struggling to come to terms with Munsters QF loss to Ulster
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Brian McLaughlin, John Hart, Duncan Bell, Michael Lynagh, Mick O'Driscoll, Deiniol Jones and Shane Williams.
Get well "Noddy" Lynagh - our thoughts are with you.

Morning pub, hope all is well
I am going to have a Friday gripe, i am really getting tired of witch hunts on this board. As soon as someone new joins they get hounded and called TGG or Mitey. Its really starting to annoy me.
Rant over
and has been set and i will be making the bacon sarnies now for anyone interested

Ha. Yeah it should be Rav.

Bore da pawb / good morning all, please.
Really sad news about Levon Helm, I hadn't heard he'd died until I read back this morning. One of my favourite drummers, loose and tight at the same time. He had such an expressive singing voice, too.

It should be easy enough to change username, shouldn't it? It was on the old 606, anyway.

Mate, fire off a PM to Kiwi, he'll change it for you.
I think they disabled that function because a few members were writing long ones which were hard on the eye. Should be no problem though.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Belfast
I was thinking of changing mine too.
I had it on the old 606 and it's over 6 years old now. It was meant to refer to cricket 'breaking the line' but then I realised it had rugby connotations too.
Anyway, I'll have to think of something... or have a competition thread to come up with a wacky name.

not even a please OR a thankyou from Hoog, Admin's have such a thankless job
I watched the whole of Othello on SkyArts2 yesterday. Really, really enjoyed it. Am thinking I should give Shakespeare another go, never really liked him at school. I was much more of a Marlowe girl.

Very metrosexual in here this morning isn't it?
Not going to the Library tonight. Trying to drag myself to the office, fight the fire then off back to bed.
Urgh.

Here folks, you can find Mikado biscuits in the UK, but they call them “jam mallows”. It’s a magners / bulmers situation but they’re the real deal, made in the same factory.
