The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Dar es Salaam
First topic message reminder :
Hamjambo. Karibuni Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania to visit pub regular MBTGOG on his big trip there. Maisha marefu! Afya! Vifijo!
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Sir Fred "The Needle" Allen, Aberdeen Shikoyi, Isoa Damudamu, Chris "Mossy" Patterson, Nathan Hines and Simon Danielli. The poor defenseless IRB referee's jersey draped over the dartboard is fair game though

Rava, I'll not lie to you. It knocked the stuffing out of me it did. It has taken me a while to find my mojo.
All jokes aside I am glad that:
- At least an Irish team will be champions
- Connacht have the Heineken Cup again next year
- There is a feeling of a new dawn for Munster with a clearout of players and coaches
Having failed to get the better of us on the pitch or in the "sing-off", Stag has determined to do all he can to wind up Ulster fans!
MrsP once you brought your youngest P to Thomond, Ulster had their 16th man
Im not trying to wind any of them up. Just to believe untruths and question how an alternative universe could be.
I am baiting nobody.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Dar es Salaam
You might notice that I haven't exactly jumped in there to dispell your rumourmongering!
I am a bit worried that the absence of the little Ps will have a detrimental effect on the outcome at Twickenham.
Ulster have never lost when Ps 1, 4 and 5 have been in the stadium!

Harking back, that is a shame about The Vulcan. I was lucky enough to visit it last year.
Cheers Penfro
Train tickets sorted for the 'Diff; arr 15:22 on Fri - dep 13:25 on Sat. And I think I've ballsed up. Wales v Oz ko at 20:00 in Brisbane, assumed 10:00 Diff time but forgot BST. It's 11:00.
England v SA at 17:00 SA time so assumed 15:00 here, but it's also an hour later. Was hoping to watch each game in the respective countries.

I'm not surprised at all Rava. Ulster is rapidly becoming the hottest team...it's only natural a fella like Gav would want to join them Oh wait...Hump is going isn't he...?

Hound,
When you've finished with that tardis...could I have a lend of it?
In fact, you could just give it me now and I'll leave it back yesterday!

I felt like I had to step in, before he told us all he'd heard all about Henson from his contacts weeks earlier because he's so in the loop.

Evening pub
I just read the Ulster thread I do believe one of our old muckers is now on v2
for Pete if he drops in.
I'm off to drink wine shortly. Have a good evening people. And if I put in an appearance in here later please just disregard anything I say.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Dar es Salaam
I doubt any of you are watching it, but the poor referee (Phil Bentham) in the Wigan RL game has just been clattered by the Hull KR fullback. He's probably hurt his ankle quite badly, the poor lad. Stretchered off and everything. Was a good game too, but it has understandably gone a bit flat now.

You might have broken him! He does a lot of BSing but he very occasionally comes up with a pearl.

Could've done with Phil Bentham staying on. The referee that's replaced him is terrible.

On the phone but have one quick thing to say
Friday night, it's pissing rain, your team goes 2-1 down 14 minutes in and it's looking bad. Win 3-2 and cue insanity. Soaking wet, but I don't care. Summer Soccer. Love it!

Yeah no doubt Mrs P. They had him on the gas straight away. Considering it's a bad injury, he wasn't too distressed though.
Anyway, night all. FA Cup then Dragons tomorrow. Good day, that starts badly when I have to lump out £750 for a car service and new brake pads and discs. Definitely be having a load of beer after that.
