The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Dar es Salaam
First topic message reminder :
Hamjambo. Karibuni Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania to visit pub regular MBTGOG on his big trip there. Maisha marefu! Afya! Vifijo!
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Sir Fred "The Needle" Allen, Aberdeen Shikoyi, Isoa Damudamu, Chris "Mossy" Patterson, Nathan Hines and Simon Danielli. The poor defenseless IRB referee's jersey draped over the dartboard is fair game though

Morning pub
I'm in the cranky club this morning too. Bad mood when I woke up and it's got worse as the morning's gone on.
On the upside, I persuaded myself to go for a jog last night in the tipping rain. If I can do it when it's pouring I can do it any time

Bollox. Been watching them since the 70's when we were acceptable dross, save for 2 or 3 players. But, this particular squad, deserves a head-coach, who knows his arse from his elbow, at International level.
We are blatantly wasting time with him. If only the IRFU had the cajones to do something about it.
Of course I'll watch em and scream for em. Im a Mick with passion. Can't help that. Just wont listen to Elmer Fudges interviews. Or comment on Ireland while he is in charge. I feel that strongly about it. Thats how much I love my country. Passionately

Ah Gibbo thats different entirely to what you said. Work away with that no issues. I thought you were stopping supporting them and just focusing on Leinster. I can have nay complaints about that post mo chara.

I am starting to get cheery. I have a 3 day working week I just realised. Off for a weekend away Friday - Sunday.
And I'm going to cinema tonight. And I just had a nice cup of coffee at work. Its good to be glad

You aren't allowed to be grumpy. Your team are in the ERC Final.

I was trying to bring culture to the less fortunate people that have never experienced a Clareman-streak or a Culchie sheep chase

Billy she's ticking along nicely. No issues at all so far. I'm half tempted to check the repair costs in August instead of buying a new one.

Clare people confuse me. I used to go out with a farming lass from Clare a few years ago. Honestly in hindsight she was an odd girl. Nice to look at mind you but a strange breed.

What's the story folkletons.
Just got a €60 voucher from work and i'm looking to spend it on something that i normally wouldn't buy. Some lego would be my first option but i'm opening it up to the floor, best suggestion will be bought.

Hmmmmm, that’s not a bad idea at all, but I’m going on a Stag do in a few weeks and we’re shooting (clay pigeon) at that so I might put that on the back burner.

Mick, head straight to a bookies and put it all on Leinster to win the Heineken Cup.

I could blow it on booze, but then i want to spend it on something that I normally wouldn't buy, so booze is pretty much out of the question!
