The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Dar es Salaam
First topic message reminder :
Hamjambo. Karibuni Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania to visit pub regular MBTGOG on his big trip there. Maisha marefu! Afya! Vifijo!
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Sir Fred "The Needle" Allen, Aberdeen Shikoyi, Isoa Damudamu, Chris "Mossy" Patterson, Nathan Hines and Simon Danielli. The poor defenseless IRB referee's jersey draped over the dartboard is fair game though

Show off. I was brought up on white meat 'but dad I don't like fat' 'it's not fat it's white meat'. We used to salt it rather than smoke it though. Had to soak it before it was edible.

We were poor as well. My grandfather was a great one for going for a walk with the dogs and coming back with hares and rabbits. Eel fishing was another thing he was good at.

Biltong: my old man was the same but at TH. My strongest areas are probably my back and legs. It was only 2 seasons ago when I moved to hooker but I still do prop at least 5 games a season! Always good to have all 3 and be versatile, I prefer switching positions as it keeps me fresh!

I loved going 'stroping' with me dad and grandad. I still love wild game meat

Shaun Edwards is on his way to London Irish as defence coach. Quite an essential appointment given some of their recent signings

Morning all.
It's wet. And the boiler* at home is one the blink so I had to shower at work.
Mutter mutter mutter grump grump.
*Yesterday we had everything ripped out of our kitchen - cupboards, wall tiles, etc in preparation for the new kitchen, we suspect some dust has gotten into somewhere important.

All this talk of killing wild game, foraging in the woods, eating jellied eels. For Jasus sake would you not just have popped down to Tesco no??

That's cool, Prop, wish I was still young enough to run around the rugby pitch.
I suppose I have to now live through my sons antics on the pitch.

Got a hot date with his tall blonde, cracking set of bangers like. However she has a bit of baggage, couple of kids like, and a bit of a snozel-box on her but I can look past it.
Taking her to see Paul Simon in Hyde Park

Proplyd, you enjoy these rugby playing years mate, they are over all too soon.
These days I sit with two crocked knees, a rib that didn't heal properly and hurts when I lie on my side.
But I won't regret a single moment of it.

Well she's been coming into me for bloody ages, but she goes out with a very good mate of mine and I'm not like that, bros before hoes and all that. But when she texts me begging me to take her out, well you know I'm a gentleman, and cant let a lady down.
