The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Dar es Salaam
First topic message reminder :
Hamjambo. Karibuni Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania to visit pub regular MBTGOG on his big trip there. Maisha marefu! Afya! Vifijo!
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Sir Fred "The Needle" Allen, Aberdeen Shikoyi, Isoa Damudamu, Chris "Mossy" Patterson, Nathan Hines and Simon Danielli. The poor defenseless IRB referee's jersey draped over the dartboard is fair game though

Of you have a ticket for "London Terminals" route "Any Permitted" you can change at reading anyway rev, however I wouldn't overly recommend it, its a Tinkywinky of a journey and takes about an hour

Did you book to Twickenham or Paddington. I did Paddington for the underground, but found out you could change at Reading for HQ. Never mind. I am getting a train for 7 from Newport I think. Going to take some cans and get a bit tipsy on the way up
I'm getting the train into Paddington on the Friday evening. Tried looking at the Sat morning ones, but they were all a bit pricey, but that's my fault for leaving it so long to decide on going!
Your plan for cans sounds good to me

Easiest way is to drink 2 litres of whole milk every day. That is what I do.

Of course it is mate
Yes Asbo/Hoog/ have arranged a room in a pub in Richmond for pre-match drinks and eats. Another pub has been chosen for the Ulster celebrations after the game. As for eating later I don't know if any thought has been given to that but I'll go Greek with you pal

No, I'm not like loads underweight, just a bit, so she wants me to put the weight back on now. Not all that helpful when I don't know how I've lost it in the first place
She did ask me what I eat and seemed happy with it, so guess I just need bigger portions or something. I know I could deffo eat more for breakfast anyways so will start with that.
Mick - that is very tempting

Well I love milk so I find it easy to take I suppose! But you just take a glass of it every time you eat, throughout the day, and it isn't so difficult. Semi skimmed milk would work too, just not as quick! You gain weight in no time if you can manage it.

Hoi good to hear from you.
If anyone wants directions to the HC meet please PM me (tomorrow) and I'll let you know. If you provide an email address I will send a map. Not sure what's happening for the Amlin on Friday though. Suspect I'll be watching it in Marylebone
Night all.

Thats a bit of a loaded question dreamer. The short answer is eat more calories... RDA for a female is about 1800 Calories I think. Do you have a high metabolism or do loads of exercise? If so you'll need more.
Eat plenty of carbohydrates - pasta, rice, potatos and some protein - chicken, fish, pulses, some red meat.
....if that fails follow Rorys advice and drink 20 pints of milk......

Morning everyone
Off work now until next Wednesday. Tidy.
Biltong - you might have to invest in some good virus protection when you get it back? Pricey, but worth it I suppose.

Well i had Kaspersky on the thing, but somehow it couldn't delete the virus, it only quaranteened it which didn't work, but now I have AVG on it, so hopefully it will work.

How much is 2000 rand?
I just use my service provider's Security program which gets updated at least once a day. The odd thing might get through but I haven't had any major crisis yet.
There's talk about Stephen Larkham playing for the Brumbies again at the age of nearly 38 - to replace Christian Lealiifano who broke his ankle last weekend. Surely that would be a risk? He hasn't played for 5 years!

jaysus... there's a story on the news right now about some rugby player who's had an achilles tendon transplant from a deceased person. He's back on the field much sooner as opposed to months and months on the sidelines. Gruesome looking scar there... it hurts to look.

The Scarlets don't have a pack left anymore! Iestyn and Rhys retired, Lou Reed, Dom Day and Damien Welch all gone. We've just 1 out and out 2nd row left on the books in Timani (and perhaps Shings I guess). I don't like us playing McGog or Turnbull in the 2nd row. We need to announce some signings asap.
