The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Dar es Salaam
First topic message reminder :
Hamjambo. Karibuni Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania to visit pub regular MBTGOG on his big trip there. Maisha marefu! Afya! Vifijo!
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Sir Fred "The Needle" Allen, Aberdeen Shikoyi, Isoa Damudamu, Chris "Mossy" Patterson, Nathan Hines and Simon Danielli. The poor defenseless IRB referee's jersey draped over the dartboard is fair game though

Afternoon all, hope everyone's well?
I've had a lovely lovely weekend. PyS was very special on Saturday. The game was an odd one, and it felt like something was missing, but the send off all the players that were leaving got at the end, really made the night. I won't forget it.
And then I just had a lovely couple of days walking over the hills at home, then cwtching up in the living room, with the wood fire going, and watching all three of the extended Lord of the Rings films over two days. Had forgotten how much I love them
And I made lots and lots of rhubarb crumble. Yum.

I never used to like rhubarb curmble myself Lucky, but it grows so well in the garden that we make so much of it, so that over the years I've just gotten used to it
I could do with a ticket Asbo, but am thinking those are meant more for Ulster fans

Rodders, I think we are doing just fine
There has been no cross words, no exaggeration, no calling each other name. Just disagreeing on key issues.

Sounds like our coalition.
Ulster rugby have just put out a garish bright pink top 'for the ladies'.
I'll be honest. I think I could pull it off.

I'm going up to Llundain aye Rev, didn't think I was going to be able to afford it, but forgot I'm getting the deposit thing for my flat back at the end of the month, so that'll cover it. Also wasn't sure if it was going to be my last weekend in Cardiff or not. It isn't, so I have the weekend free to head on up.
Not so fussed on a tocyn though, twill just be nice to meet up with all you lot

Hasn't Hoog got a spare?
I'll be honest, I really am having doubts about going now after my fecking car problems on the weekend. I didn't expect to have so many things go wrong at once.

Had to change all my brake pads and discs. Had to fix the suspension. Had to change two front tyres. It's all wear and tear, but it's hit me all at once.
I will see what happens. I don't want to leave Hoog lumbered with my ticket anyway, so chances are I'll be there.

Given that I'm off to the IRB 7s on Sunday having Saturday free is no bad thing. Except that it was a really good excuse to get out of the house early, as kitchen installation will be in full swing then (floors and walls happen today & tomorrow, the kitchen unit arrives Friday)

Haha. I wish you would lose money on the ticket now, but sadly I know you'll sell it no bother
Rav, how could I refuse an offer like that.
Dreamer, I'm sure as the excitement keeps building in here there'll be no way I'll want to miss it. At least my train is booked.

Besides you being the most important man on the Planet , there are plans being finalised.
Looks like a luncheon meeting in London Town on Friday then Twickers (Stoop) for de Amlin and a possible meet with PC Pete.
Overnight in Hampstead with some friends then off to Richmond for opening time on Saturday.
Will you have your Mobile Phone with you when you get to Blighty? Email or PM your number and I will update you by text as it unfolds.

Dreamer,
Did you book to Twickenham or Paddington. I did Paddington for the underground, but found out you could change at Reading for HQ. Never mind. I am getting a train for 7 from Newport I think. Going to take some cans and get a bit tipsy on the way up
