Olympics Day 9
First topic message reminder :
Right, someone else fill this in if need be. I need to get my breath back, I need to calm right down. 6 golds on Day 8, we've wiped Atlanta away, more golds today, come on sailors, come on Christine, come on Andy, come on Louis Smith, LET'S SMASH 20!

If you had to choose between Murray winning the singles or the mixed doubles with Robson what would you choose? I'd prefer him to win the mixed doubles with Robson

Greatest Sailing Olympian. Four golds and a silver in four olympics
Three consecutive Golds in three olympics in the same disciplin... something only ever acheived by Carl Lewis, Al Oerter and Ben Ainslie

Well done Ben Ainslie. The King of Sailing. Heartbreak though for Percy and Simpson although a Silver medal is still decent consolation.

Preferably both but Mixed Doubles. Think it would be quite nice for Fed to win the Gold

Early break for Murray in the second set, it's all going his way. Gold Number 16 for Britain?

Re: Olympics Day 9
Everyone in Wimbledon cheering for Fed, should be taken out of their seats and executed. They took seats off of British fans.

I love the Olympics and being British. We were out for a mate's birthday last night and watched Mo Farah in a karaoke bar and Jess Ennis in a pub. Some of us genuinely cried

No, they are both Olympic finalists and both deserved to be cheered

According to the BBC, Murray will only get a 45 minute break between the conclusion of the singles and the Mixed Doubles final. Tough scheduling.

Re: Olympics Day 9
If he somehow loses this i shall sodomise him with a solero - this could be a springboard for him to take that step right up to the top and he has to grasp it with both hands.
Re: Olympics Day 9
Another break for Murray, 8 games in a row I believe!

6-2, 5-0. I bet on strange scores, but I was not close to that.

Now why the flip couldn't Murray play like this when it mattered more i.e. the Wimbledon Final about a month ago?

Re: Olympics Day 9
He played really well in the Wimbledon final! It's the home advantage and the inspiration of the other medal winners. Usually Wimbledon is like a home game for Federer. This time it's definitely not
