The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Mendoza
First topic message reminder :
Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The Pub has made its way to Mendoza - the city at the foothills of the Andes and one of the venues for the inaugural Rugby Championship.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Rory McIlroy, Sam Cane, Juan José Imhoff, Eben Etzebeth, Jake Schatz and Rob McCusker.

If we have enemies, it's probably the Blues (due to their proximity) or the Ospreys (due to their nonciness).

Just a reminder: I've set up a Dew Drop mini league for the Barclays Fantasy Premier League. PM me if you want the code.

For Mrs. R of course. Men at weddings must not outshine their partners, so its normal grey suit for me.
Has it got a bit which hasn't faded as much under the sash and in the bowler's shade?

Ecuador have just granted Assange asylum.
It will be interesting to see if Britain carry out their threat of storming the embassy now.
It will set a very dangerous precident if they do I think and I'm pretty shocked and disgusted that they've even suggested it.

Tough either way.
Quite frankly the guy's "Sweden will extradite me to the US" claim is Love sacks. If only because it's easier to extradite someone from Britain to the US than from Sweden.

Presumably the woman I spoke to last week who said they would print out a ticket and post it to me was a cleaner who answered the phone and decided to spin me a yarn.

It's pretty quiet in here tonight.
Right now, my posting is limited by the fact I'm coming into the final month of my MA and am very busy with work. But I just wanted to say I think on the wall of the next pub we should have a picture of Nottingham RFC player Mitchell Todd who was killed in a car crash recently.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-19289370
Just because it's a sad loss for, Nottingham RFC, Scottish Rugby and most significantly of course his family and friends. And I was sad to read about it.

Evening pub, just finished work for the day.
One more sleep and I'm off to see Penfro Emperor of Sarries for the weekend, and of course Bath vs the O's and all being well Cari in the 'Diff!
This weekend is going to be seriously plush, in an upmarket deluxe velor kind of way. Niiiiiiiiiice.
Oh, and I second that Notch, good call - now get back to work on that Masters you slack barsteward.

Right now I'm in bed with some jazz playing... you get to a point where you make yourself counter-productive trying to power through! It's a marathon not a sprint. It's just when I do get home,I don't have the energy for all the usual to-ing and fro-ing of online rugby debates. But I am lurking in here from time to time and glad to see all the usual suspects are doing well.
Have fun with Cari- she's a beautiful person. And Penfro is just the nicest rugby bloke. Should be a good weekend.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Mendoza
Notch - there's a thread on Mitch Todd on the rollingmaul forum. That's a forum for fans of teams below the English Premiership. I was having a look through there and then popped back in here before turning in for the night, and saw your post.
I feel for his family and friends and fellow players at Nottingham RFC and the SRU. No news about how the tragic accident happened.
G'night folks.

Bore da pawb / good morning all, thank Crunchie it's Friday!
The forecast is for rain all day. It's crossed my mind that they might have to call off the London Irish match if the pitch is waterlogged, so fingers crossed that doesn't happen.
Maybe I'll have to put my finger in a dyke. Plenty of them in Newport.

The Dragons XV to face London Irish this evening:
Daniel Evans, Matthew Pewtner, Adam Hughes, Pat Leach, Tom Prydie, Steffan Jones, Wayne Evans, Phil Price, Steve Jones, Nathan Buck, Ian Nimmo, Andrew Coombes, Dan Lydiate, Darren Waters, Toby Faletau
Replacements:
Sam Parry, Nathan Williams, Dan Way, Jevon Groves, Tom Brown, Jonathan Evans, Lewis Robling, Jack Dixon, Hugh Gustafson, Aaron Coundley, Tim Ryan, Hywel Stoddart, Ieuan Jones, Mike Poole, Andy Tuilagi, Ross Wardle.
Looking forward to seeing Dan Evans, Tom Prydie and Ian Nimmo in Dragons colours (well, colour) for the first time, and our pack looks pretty strong. Hopefully Jack Dixon gets some game time off the bench, he's a real talent.
