First topic message reminder :

Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The Pub has made its way to The Patch - a tiny rugby union* community nestled in the Dandenong Ranges east of Melbourne in the week before the AFL Grand Final.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Willie Falloon, Joel Conlon, Peter Murchie, Lewis Jetta, Lance "Buddy" Franklin and Frazier Climo.

No, Jackson was first choice for the U20 in last seasons 6N. He would also have been if he had gone to the Junior WC. Hanrahan is very good but so too is Jackson. I think a lot of people only remember Jackson for three performances in the latter stages of the HC last year.

I will apply double standards if and when I like.

Far as I am concerned JJ's last match was when he was ripping it up in the U20 RWC and Jacksons was during his struggles in the European Cup knockouts.

P.S - we are not going to take different of quality into account either.

Evening All coffee

Hope everyone's well and good. I've had a tidy day at work...off to see Tommy soon. I'm uber excited. Very Happy They covered the match on the BBC Wales news. I hope there's a good size crowd in the Park for this one.

Evening all

So much choice of sport to watch tonight. Ulster looking good at the Blues so far. Think I am going to switch between the Ryder Cup and the Super League semi final between Wigan and Leeds Rhinos.

Hope everyone is well this evening. Ale

Eeeevening all.

Just taking a break from mine and my sisters mission to get another dog. Think we may have worn our parents down and there are Golden Retriever pups for sale just 7 miles away!! Very Happy Just need to sort out the lunch time care for it and we're a-okay to go!

Really enjoying the Blues v Ulster game, Ulster looking really really good. Some huge hits going in. Not sure how Blues are going to cope now without a recognised 10 playing though, got to feel for Tovey picking up an injury, he was looking good too.

Any more news on Lydiate? Not good he's hurt Sad

And Zebre are winning away to Glasgow 13-0 right now! about 15 mins gone. (although as I type I think Glasgow have just scored a try)

It's been really encouraging after a shaky start. Hope we can bring home the points- for Nevin.

Michael Allen is the latest Ulster centre to get injured, we're down to bare bones.

Glasgow have scored a try and a Zebre player in the bin now.

Glasgow made 13 changes for this, so first half bound to be a bit shaky for 'em I reckon.

Ulster are v impressive tonight Notch. Excellent in the set piece.

16-7 to Zebre, 31 mins gone.

I said in my match preview glasgow might have made too many changes for this. They are going to need a superb 2nd half if they are going to take the 5 points from this which they really should to be honest.

v good try, stupid flick by Warbs to try mind, gifted possession away.

BP for Ulster, and fully deserved.

ooooo blimey MORRISON! just scored for Glasgow, right before HT.

They needed that, 5 points from this match should be coming for them then, but they had one hell of a fight for the first 30. Be interesting if they can build on this in the 2nd half and rack up a big score.

Just got a text. All the guys around her think she's mad. Sound.

Ulster are really rocking here, Blues no mugs. Ulster just a very strong unit. And it is growing in strength. The PRO12 Title is well within them this year. I fully expect them in the HC knockouts too.

Bowe 2nd TRY!

Ulster look a real force here.

Payne's try for Ulster

Sean Holley:

"It was the wrong option, there was a defensive overlap, he should have passed inside to a forward to set it up, go through the phases, be patient, cross the gain line, suck defenders in, look for mismatches and eventually there might be space out wide if they could force Ulster into adefensive mistake..."
