First topic message reminder :

Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The Pub has made its way to The Patch - a tiny rugby union* community nestled in the Dandenong Ranges east of Melbourne in the week before the AFL Grand Final.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Willie Falloon, Joel Conlon, Peter Murchie, Lewis Jetta, Lance "Buddy" Franklin and Frazier Climo.

Afternoon all. Back from the brain op, I wouldn't recommend it, it hurts like nothing I've ever felt, still is for that matter but I have a wonderful zipper-head now, a fine scar indeed Smile

I am bate. Leinster got their backsides handed to them yesterday, no way around it. Why does it always happen around the time of their game v Munster though. Can ye not let us do it once like? Stop being selfish feciers like. Tidy win for Ulster too.

Cheers again everyone, it's a relief to have come out pretty much unscathed and still the same person so far. Time will tell.
I was in for the op at 11:30am and it was meant to take 2 hours, when at 6pm my family had heard nothing you can imagine what they thought but all that went wrong was the neurosurgeon collapsed half way through the proceedure and they had to call another one in to finish the job Smile
Maybe he just had never seen a more complete and wonderful brain, or such a tiny one?
Gibbo Christian keeps poking my scar which runs right up the back of my head, it hurts and he thinks it's very funny. Little devil he is.

Oh and if I HAD forgotten what rugby was the Ulster lads reminded me about it last night in one hell of a fashion.

I will just add that if anyone ever offers you brain surgery just say no. It hurts, it hurts so bad that even morphine didn't work so stay away from the brain surgeons folks. Oh and I did set a bit of a record by being on my feet and going for a shower the morning after surgery which made em all shake their heads in wonder. You're supposed to be immobile for up to a week Smile

I know, I boast too much

FT Richmond 27 - 27 Ealing. Excellent game, and the boys in green did well to come back from 27-10 down after conceding 4 tries when we had 1 and then 2 guys in the bin.

SA v Aus on in the clubhouse. 14-3 to Biltong's boys at ht.

Scotty - consider yourself told by Dr MrsP! warning laughing Take it easy, there's no rush. Take full advantage of slobbing about for a while Smile

Just settling down for the O's match....they'll show last night highlights first. I've seen Tommy's tries (thanks to Notch's links), but it's interesting to see things from the TV angle.

I'm a bit nervous about this O's match...I'm expecting a lot of penalties possibly a card or two...

If Linebreaker pops in, I've just read that the Dubs are losing one it's finest youngsters to the AFL. Ciarán Kilkenny is off to Melbourne to play professional football with Hawthorn. Lucky him, but a bummmer for the Dubs.

Credit to them, they fought back brilliantly 2nd half, can't believe the two charge downs though, we threw that one a bit. Balls.
