The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Colwyn Bay
First topic message reminder :
Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The pub has made its way to Colwyn Bay, where the Tier 2 AIs are currently taking place.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Bob Scott and Malele Kunavore above the bar.

I am blessed that I have a quite Pragmatic GF MrsP so I think the wedding bells would be a bit further down the line thank god.
Financially it would break my heart. I am already starting to resent her over the lack of a decent holiday over the last 3 years. I have made it perfectly clear I blame that on her. She doesn't lose sleep over it.

My Mam is 64 and My Dad 62. They have been courting since my dad was 14 and my mam 16. But I don't think they got married until my mam was 25 which was suspciously close to my sister being "concieved"

The maths don't quite add up but I reckon there was some creative accounting done with the figures alright.
Although since their honeymoon was in Clare, if it was a honeymoon baby then my sisters name would have reflected such.

I have a friend whose Granny went to her grave believing that one of her Grandchildren had been 3 months premature.
This despite the fact that said infant weighed 8lbs at birth!

See the IRB Player of the Year Shortlist?
Richie McCaw (New Zealand) Yep, standard.
Dan Carter (New Zealand) Yep, as expected.
Freddie Michalak (France) An excellent choice.
Owen Farrell (England) ...what?

Hasn't Michalak only played 3 international matches this year? I thought he was on the outer for the 6N? Or did he play in the summer in Argentina?

I am very confused by that selection. As you say two of them are as expected but I don't see Owen Farrell made it in there. He has been having a break through season last year but still lots of learning to do.
Baffled by that one.
Freddie, I would say I don't know how well he has been doing because I haven't seen him on the international scene but could be a good one.

You have your own Mod????
I'm not sure if that's because you are sooooo badly behaved that moderating you is a full time job or whether it means you "own" a mod?
Which one is yours then?

Evening pub.
Agreed, Michalak and Farrell are odd choices for POTY.
For me, Picamoles should be in there.
Possibly Nathan Sharpe too, for answering Aus's call in their hour of need and captaining so well.
Difficult to pick anyone from the 'Lions' nations. If a country had a good 6N, they followed it with a less than impressive summer tour and and indifferent set of AIs.
