Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The pub has made its way to Dubai, host city for the upcoming round of the IRB Rugby World 7s.

Visitors are reminded to dress sensibly and carry their working-'holiday' permit with them at all times and if possible; engage in their sinful drinking habits within the smoky confines of the underground "English Pub". We have more big screens than you could ever dream of...

If you need to go for a swim at the beach - application forms for towels and umbrellas are available at the bar.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Ricky Ponting, Bradley Davies, Andrew Hore and Craig Gilroy above the bar.

He probably shouldn't have left his region really and stayed in Gwent. There we are though, I'm sure he had enough confidence in his ability to think he'd have played more.

No mate. I want to show Andy round some of Exeter, hence the overnight job. As's place is a fair way out of town. Plus we also want to watch the England v NZ game (and keep tabs on the Wales v Aus game). We rock up in Exe at about 12:30 (ko 17:30 at Sandy Park) so there's time for all that if we're in town.

Gawd, I'm shattered. Never in 38+ years have I needed a week off like I need this one.
