The Culture Cup round 6
First topic message reminder :
Happily, the first Spice Girls Single not to go to Number 1 was Stop, it was kept off top spot by Run DMC vs Jason Nevins - It's Like That.
seanmichaels wrote:Rowley wrote:seanmichaels wrote:Rowley wrote:JuliusHMarx wrote:I think I'll upset Jeff now and say that Blackberry Way is a better song than Waterloo Sunset.
Why would the fact you're a moron upset me?
As an aside though another Move song, Flowers in the Rain was the first song ever played on Radio One.
That could and should have been posted on me remarkably unpopular Music anecdotes thread....
Sean, if the thread had been called useless music trivia it almost certainly would have been. I have any number of such facts I could amaze you good people with.
Hit me.

I don't think Tino is Hoffman. They only found 70 bags of heroin in Hoffman's house.

I'm not sure if it is a coincidence but I had a dream about windows on Friday. I was out with my brother and one of his mates turned out to be windows. It was very awkward.....

It would be, though not quite as awkward as if my dream about Julius being god were true.

A god who is not just a skilled limerist but kind. Are you able to bring Tino/Hoffman back to life or is that pushing it a bit?

I think Tino may be watching this with amusement. I think he might be enjoying our pain, getting his jollies watching us grieve for his absence, and deliberately not posting, just to see us sink deeper and deeper into despair. Damn him - the b@st@rd!

Didn't realise it had been that long. This link may be a vital clue (warning: not for sensitive posters)...

I have just checked, he is not banned. He can be quite cutting, so worth checking he has not upset one of the mods that lack mine and Julius' happy go lucky personalities.

Imagine putting personal comfort and principles before Tino. I'm quite upset but not as upset as I'd be if it were someone else.

I have just googled Robert Dyas Redundancies and I believe we can rule that out as a possibility for his absence.

I was tempted by a toasted sandwich maker but went for a coal bucket instead. Windows should really offer out his staff card.

I have a George Foreman grill Shah. You really do me a disservice. I am nowhere near as fat as I get credit for on here.

Me eating a salad Shah? Let's not get carried away. Unless there is a kebab under it I have little interest in salads.

Would it reflect badly on my musical tastes to admit I now have a Spandeau Ballet song going through my head?

Its been two days on the run and all i've had is 12 fish and chips with gravy and 4 bottles of dom perignon. I've only got £700000 left and 15 suits and only a single butler and my driver in my rolls royce. I am truly on my last legs, please, please, please Shah save me from the indignity of having to wear a suit twice.
I'm coming tino, hold on, i'm going to save you.

Re: The Culture Cup round 6
Perhaps Tina has been biten by a centipede and his fingers have fallen off and he's currently mashing a keyboard with his stumps trying desperately to type in his unfortunately long username.
I must say the concern for Tina is touching. Meanwhile, I haven't posted for a few days and not one bit of concern is shown. I'm the equivalent of an old man who's passed away in his sleep and has 14 bottles of milk on his doorstep and a letterbox rammed with newspapers. (Julius must get a few shudders reading that sentence).

Well actually, I was suffering much anguish myself. Me a couple of mates went over to gay Paree to have our hopes and dreams dashed in the sporting arena. We cried, then we cheered and then cried again as our brave sporting hero's left the French battle field bloodied but unbowed.
Stayed on for Monday and came home yesterday. Had a good time apart from the result.
I did go with a scouser and a Yorkshireman though so spent half my time stopping one from stealing and the other time trying to prize the Yorkshireman's wallet open.
