Yeah well I went down there the first day it opened right, and I did a couple of laps, I pulled over, the bloke that runs the thing comes over and said - Oi no professionals. I took my helmet off, I said I'm not a professional. He said - you're not a profesional? I said - No, he said - well you should be, if I was you I'd take up Formula One, and if you drive like that you'd probably be the best in the country! I said - I'm not interested I'm making Poopie loads out of computers.

Either or for me, and as Bradford is the curry capital of Europe (voted twice) and you can not find a decent chinese for anything (though quite a few decent Thai restaurants) then it tends to be the former.

When I head back over the Penines I get to a decent Chinese when I can.

An apple that's been on my desk for five days and a ham sandwich containing ham purloined by my wife from her mother's house...just grim on so many levels. Someone bought some cornetto's for the office and I'd love one but I'm watching my waistline....these hookers are quite nippy if you don't smack them cleanly around the head first time round.

last week I drove up to milton keynes for a shift and got there just in time. Then the engineers told me they had finished the work so I could go. On saturday i went to work in bedford finished 4 hours early. Yesterday I turned up an hour late due to a mix up with the booking 20 minutes later engineers were finished and I came home early again. With the sunset a gentle breeze stirring driving down an empty motorway 12 hours earlier than anticipated and still getting paid for it. Bloody brilliant

So glad you are all enjoying some nice weather.

We are just at the tail end of a Category 2 cyclone here. Well not a cyclone technically... more of an intense double low. So much phucking rain... over 200mm in just under 24 hours. 135km/h wind gusts. It is supposed to be easing from midnight... so in about 5 minutes time. I'm thrilled.

There's some cruise ship stuck outside the Heads in 8-9m (26'-29') swells which has been prohibited from entering the harbour. Too dangerous apparently. Must be vomit everywhere on board the Carnival Spirit.

Rick, a young kid got bitten by a funnel web today too. I've just read that only 43 people got bitten in 2014.

I saw a video last night of two girls (no cups) in the back of an ambulance. I watched it with no sound but I think one was getting a defibrillator and the other was over her crying but touching her by accident. She didnt "clear" on instruction and was zapped unconscious.
