I have no view on the park run question. I don't go to parks and I sure as hell don't run (anywhere). However when the story of a local council wanting to charge was on the radio yesterday they interviewed a woman who participated in it who was genuinely crying over the news.

That is a woman in serious need of a sense of proportion.

She was an idiot. I actually found myself hoping the council would increase the fees even more solely to annoy her.

Apparently the takeover of 99p stores caused disruption. Well, it would - it must have been a real challenge converting a 99p to a £1 store. I don't know how they managed it.
