this is looking extremely ominous for Wales. I can't remember such a one sided start.

0 metres made to Aus 105m by 14 mins? That's astounding. Had the displeasure of watching the opening 15 mins on break - glad I won't be watching the rest. I can see why some supporters haven't bothered to turn up today. Perhaps the WRU might get the message regarding the mismanagement of the team we all pay good money for?

They're dangerous as frig. Joubert missed so much off that last passage of play though.

Are Wales actuly on on the field?
This seems more like a training run for Australia rather than a game of international rugby.

Embarrassing. No chance.
Will get 1 win this autumn against Japan, unless we play like this again, in which case we will get 0.

Wales playing like tw*ts today, but they will beat South Africa and Japan.
Scotland will do better against Aus next week, but in the end will also lose by a couple scores at least.

Defensively abject, ill disciplined and physically inept.
Could easily have been a 40 point half.

You cannot blame jubert for the way Wales are playing.
This is a shocker for Wales. If they had any hope of getting into the top 8 of the draw for rugby world cup places. Well playing like they are they have no chance.

Re: Wales v Australia, 5 November
One more score will put it to bed for Aus, which they will do. Wales I expect will come back but it'll be too little too late. What's more annoying than losing to Aus + Joubert is allowing Howley and McBride to coach the team, and then the team selection. Some of the supporters deserve better IMO.
BTW, I thought Australia looked pretty good from what I saw. Executing the basics pretty well, playing to a fairly simple game plan but probably looking to offload too much when it isn't on.

Blinkers Mickey. Wales do well in the 6N so all they need is to do the same but a bit better seems to be the Wales management idea against the SH. Well it don't work. Why Wales keep predictably kicking long to the full back is beyond me.

Why can't you English just go and support a team instead of reveling in Wales losses all the time? It's pretty sad.

For those of us unfortunate enough to be in NZ in the summer this performance is no surprise.Coached by comedians who are an embarrassment on any rugby paddock.Come on OZ score 80 then the WRU might, and it's a big might, wake up.

I really hope Wales tighten up in the second half, that was as poor a showing as I have seen from them in some time. Way too narrow in defence and inviting the Aussies to attack.

I was hoping Wales would win today. But, well it does look like Wales are not going to win.
So the trend of losing to SH teams. continues. oh well.

Some stats;
Missed tackles 13 - 1.
Run Metres: 500 - 93.
Line Breaks:7 -0.
Possession: 89% - 11%.
I think we all know that Wales can only improve on this.

Rubbish by Wales they are not contesting in the line out giving Aust easy ball. Biggar kicking is brainless I suspect the coaching which is where Wales need to change both forward and backs. This could be a 60 point loss, may be what is needed for change.

Yeah the constant snide remarks and ongoing revelling is what we're talking about really, but then again you always have acted pretty low since the old 606 days - so why I expected you to start being a real rugby fan now I don't know.

Going by what I've witnessed since the last 6N I don't think what you say is true. Ah well. I do hope England continue to do well anyway, they actually look capable of threatening SH dominance and by god it needs to be overcome!
I think most fans are peed off over how some of this could have been avoided, but the union and coaches have a knack for repeating their mistakes....over and over again.

Well it's true in my case Mikey and I'm sure that I can recall other English posters being generally supportive of Wales and the other home nations. You do get always get some who will enjoy seeing another nation do badly but I really don't believe it's everyone. I'm sure I'll be biting my tongue lots of times next week as numerous posters cheer on South Africa! I could guess a few of the names now but won't!
Anyway Wales looking a bit better so far..

I think that Biggar has kicked reasonably well myself. That said, kicking high to the Alex Cuthbert wing and expecting him to attack the ball is pretty bad game management.

You need to remember that Wales are currently 5th - but after this match with this losing margin, they'll be 6th and on 80.97. France are 80.75, Scot 80.45, Argentina 80.31 - very tight rankings from 6th-9th spot.

That's something I've noticed in the last 3 Aus vs Wales games reffed by Joubert - that and the reluctance to punish the Wallaby scrum. I'm not sure how it's functioning today as I'm missing the match. Now I don't want to accuse CJ of bias....but surely after all his performances in matches between the NH and SH more questions should be asked.

Well he got in the way of Phipps the Oz 9 (he touched him too) and Joubert just let it go, then a Wales player intercepted and he blew up. In fairness the delay to Phipps meant the Wales line could get up, but what if the Oz line managed to benefit from it - was he just going to let it keep going?
Thing with Joubert is mostly everyone I know says it, including SH supporters - he's too keen to give "benefit of the doubt" to the SH. Need I say Scotland vs Australia last year ... guarantee if it was the other way round it would have been a scrum not a pen.
