The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?
FYI, the last pub was :

Who's jealous of a Flip phone for christs sake ? I think it's sad that people think other people are jealous, when they're not. You do know Apple stole most of the technology in the iPhone ? So much for being innovative hey ? They had to pay a lump sum to Nokia for infringing its patents and a continuing royalty on every iPhone sold. Not quite sure why anyone wants to pay over the top for a phone that has an apple badge on it, when there are far superior products out there for less money, Samsung Galxy SII, HTC Desire, Sony Xperia, Nokia N8, etc, etc.
If you're not jealous why do you need to tell me you are not?

hadn't we left this topic alone?
Anyhoo, just 3 hours to go till I'm free for the weekend. Off out for some drinks tonight, then need to decide if I'm going on the pub crawl tomorrow. Sunday is looking all set to be a lazy day which I really, really need!

Over here every network offers across network inclusive call packages.
How many minutes of off network calls do you make ? How many texts do you send a month ? How much data do you currently use ? Then look on a comparison website and see what they come up with.

ah lucky you! Actually I think it might be a good thing I don't get discount off books, I'd never stop buying them otherwise.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
See theres unreal offers in the UK. Ireland doesn't have much of them though. I currently spend about €35-40 each month now though thats not having access to net. To me the extra 15 a month seemed quite small.
I use a lot of landline calls but I just don't seem to see one that saves me much without cutting down completely on internet (which is probably main reason for purchase) and limiting me to same network calls and texts.

I've never watched the TV show. I don't want to be influenced before reading it.

I'll have to wait until I get home before I can see him, Linebreaker! I've always liked him as a bowler, a real spark about him. Although I read that Harbhajan Singh slapped him once, for some reason.

Definitely don't watch the show first Stag, it's very good and does follow the book but it does add in bits that you won't come across in the 1st book. Would recommend you watch it at somepoint though.

the cricket sounds far too depressing for my liking. Hoping the likes of Swann can put up some sort of resistance.

Odd that Bresnan goes into the batting order higher than Broad, or am I missing something? India looking good here, would be surprised if this match went this distance.

It sounds like a good day's cricket so far though, Dreamer. I'd rather see a day where wickets have fallen than two openers bat all day.

I love listening to Geoff Boycott. He's always entertaining and most of the time he's spot-on in what he says.

Rugby World makes the point that Rob Kearney is rated higher in the Southern Hemisphere than the Northern one.
True?
True?
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
ah dear Geoffrey. One of these days I really want to play Boycott Bingo.
I used to really dislike him when I was about 15, thought he was just such a negative, miserable man.
Now he might very well still be those things but I've developed an appreciation for him. Love it when him and Henry commentate together. Comedy gold.

Think about this now. Think about what you have seen me post. Do I sound like a tech head? An apple freak? I'm barely computer literate and my taste in most things is conservative to say the least. Would it help if I told you that before my business partner bought us the things I wasn't quite sure what it actually was or did?
Anyway, change the subject:

Costa, their blueberry muffins are amazing.
I don't particularly like either though, and seeing as I hate coffee, I don't often frequent them.

England looking decidedly dodgy here. Broad ought to have gone in earlier in the line up. They'll be lucky to make 140 here.
