The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Wales fans, how badly do Wales have to do for Gatland to get the car park treatment off Roger Lewis after the World Cup?
Penfro, re send off. I will be selling sheep in Llandovery on the 2nd. In the words of Abbot and Costello: "Ban viagee".

If we don't make it out of the pool - he's got to go, but NOT in the Car Park. The successor must be identified and signed-up BEFORE he gets the push. We can't have the circus we had last time
No worries on the send-off Glas. It's not for me, more of a pre-season warm-up if you will. If you are unfortunate enough to be up in this area before then let me know and we can have a

Glas, I think Gatland's understanding is that if he doesn't get Wales out of the group, he's a goner.

That was Jenkins' understanding though too wasn't it. He managed it and was still sacked in a terrible way.
For me, anything short of a 3rd/4th play off is a failure and he should go.
Why? because his alien game plan is wrecking our domestic game. That is fine if he brings home the bacon. But the rewards need to justify the risk or he can sling his James.

Real nice isnt it!
I have been a bit absent from the boards recently due to some behind the scenes stuff which I am sure you will all like going forward!
Got some prizes sorted for the prediction league for the WC already.
Can someone tell me if we have any Ospreys or Gloucester fans on the board?
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Hang on the lads, the Bhoys are back and thank Jebus for that
The pub was in danger of going a bit 'Taffi-Centric' there
OSPREYS = myself, sure there must be others
GLAWS = Prop Lyd

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Id say every poster giving their tuppence worth on how to moderate is just as bad
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Ah that doesn't bother me too much mate having spent all of my adult life being told, mainly by pished up idiots on a Friday night, how I should be doing my job.
It does make the chuckle though. I wonder if sometimes posters look back a bit later at what they've posted and realise just how childish and immature they have made themselves look.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
It really amazes me. I did that for 1 day recently where I basically just disagreed with anything that was said and it was such an effort to keep it going.

Got away with sleeping in I think. Long day today though.

I wonder why it is something that they derive enjoyment from but each to their own and all that.

"to each their own and all that".
I don't buy that. My 3 year old cousin derives enjoyment from drawing on the wall with a box of crayons but some things just aren't allowed.
As far as I'm aware anyway its not a matter of choice on the forum. You simply aren't allowed and you can post elsewhere if you must post in that way.
Or am I wrong?
