The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Stop Micka, it's getting fairly old alright..
It's next Tuesday. I am down in tralee from Friday until Monday so won't be doing anything that weekend.
I have a band comp down in Clonmel the following weekend so suspect we will be up practicing non stop. so I am not sure if it will be a runner.
if I am and you're about, I will give you a shout mate..
Might just have a few in molloys on the Thursday

Before long Micky will be telling us stories of the time he wore an onion on his belt which was the style at the time. Or perhaps he will be telling us the story of when he found a 2002 5c coin, on that morning he will have got up for a piece of toast and would have set the toaster to 3 medium brown.....
Sorry to hear about the job scenario Cari.

If you like, I could hurl insults at the unlucky victim then run away if i think you're losing? Anyway, this man needs a drink
One for the wall;

Very pleased with this decision. The guy was basically Captain for most of our games last season anyway. He's a fantastic leader and will probably be unlucky not to go to the World Cup if he isn't selected.

England's result, England's performance, my club's result, my personal performance and I lost my phone when I had far too much to drink on Saturday night. Couple of other things as well (not least a dreadful hangover on Sunday!), I'll bounce back though.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Just want to share with you that I am in 1st in the Pub's premier league prediction league,5th in the 606 v2 one and in the top 5% overall in the competition. The only way to go is down.
I am not rubbing it in.

Biltong should only be served if he brought some Biltong meet because it sounds mighty tasty. Camping is never a good idea in Ireland it rains too often, lashing down outside right now.

The festival was amazing Cari, had a brilliant 3 days, just having trouble readjusting back to reality.
Things just seem so much simpler when you're out in the countryside, in good company, with good drink and excellent music. Twas bliss.

Thomond, I rate biltong in the same category of delicacy to parma ham, black forest ham etc, only it is beef or kudu or springbok or rooibok etc, and much tastier

you ever thought of learning one Cari?
I'm thinking of picking up the flute again, although I was never any good at it to begin with and I've forgotten lots, so who knows.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I love music, and if I could I would've gone for a piano or a guitar but I could never access lessons or instruments to practice on. I had a go at drums once cause I used to go out with a drummer, and both my brothers are drummers, but I didn't do it properly.

I tried the flute, but for some reason I didn't have the lips for it, so tried the clarinet and wasn't great at that. I was reasonable on the recorder though.

I've played piano, recorder and a tiny bit of guitar, but never to any good standard and don't play any any more. I have a ukulele as well, but I'm not 100% sure why.

Did anyone on here know you could buy food and drinks on amazon? Of course,it isn't worth it as they are kind of overpriced but still pretty great!
