First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the team photos of the World Cup finalists. Or the action shots (put up especially for Cari) of McCaw, Kahui and Corey Jane.

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

oh goodness I can't help myself, despite the pain they dished out to me last weekend....allez les bleus!

and morning all, loved the haka and the French arrow head. Both teams playing well so far which is good.

oh ouch, knee to head the head for Parra, not nice.

Parra's head versus McCaw's knee. Unsurprisingly ITV don't make a big deal of it...

McCaw having an easy ride, there's a surprise.

Try there from a Lyn Jones move Hansen picked up watching the Ospreys whilst Wales coach.

I don't think Parra should have come back on. Ah bless him, that must be the worst feeling, having to go off in a final.

This is disgraceful refereeing by Joubert. He penalised Para for the slightest offside yet NZ are given free reign. McCaw was holding Yachvilli into a ruck lying on the floor right under his nose! Terrible.

I think Gwyn Jones is thinking along the same lines, he's made a couple of comments about it.

The All Blacks don't commit technical offences.

That's not me saying that, it's the refereeing team.

Morning all, really impressed by france, they've nullified NZ so far. I reckon we'll see kiwi running out at 10 if this continues!

We won yesterday but yet again my ankle/foot's playing up...think it may end up with a few weeks off Sad can't put weight on the front.

In other news; 4th time round was the best hayseed dixie gig yet!!

Stop the press - penalty against McCaw!

It should have been a yellow - red zone. Whistle

I was neutral before this final but thought NZ would shade it by a score or so. But the more this match goes on and the more dodgy 50/50 calls go towards the ABs, I'd have no objections to see France do this.
