The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the team photos of the World Cup finalists. Or the action shots (put up especially for Cari) of McCaw, Kahui and Corey Jane.
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Oh God Glas mate, I so AM! Said to Liam's last GF, did she want to start making one with me. They broke up a few months later. Funny that. Peculiar.. not haha.
His new one - total baaabe... is coming to visit me while he's away in Oz. Sooo...
Just need to clear it with MrsG... but I just know she will be cool. Just just loves young, pretty, intelligent babes in the house. Great woman. Yeah roysh.
She scans all potential Life-partners, like a wound-up cobra ready to kill.
Bless er.

Evening,
haven't been following the post RWC debate because my fellow country people have exorcised the word "Joubert" from their calendar.
However, having seen that the IRB refuse a right of reply to a tribal provocation, I reckon the head of the aforementioned institution should be hung by it's balss.Lapasset=traitre

I just dawned on me the other day. If proof of our generation gap was needed there is almost exactly 20 years between the eldest little G and the eldest little P!

Just seen that Olivier Missoup has been found guilty of GBH vis a vis Remy Martin. The guy will have to pay up around 10,000 yoyos, but is banned from any stadium for 3 months, pending appeal;he can however, continue to train with Toulon..After match drinks are starting to be expensive.

Just read that I may have a job chance;EdF are looking for someone to teach their captain a sort of English that washes with referees;will have to improve my antipodean accent, however.

Mick,
Are those two different sanctions imposed by the courts and the rugby heirarchy or has the criminal court excluded him from rugby grounds?
Glas,
The facts speak for themselves. Gibbo is a whole generation older than me!
Fact!
End of!

Mrs P, It's a criminal charge, brought over an aggression in a sports stadium,so it's,for the moment, a criminal decision which may be(but I doubt it,knowing Martin's pedigree) extended. I think oit will be left thwere;but it's jurisprudence, and can be used in other litigations.(I think ).

Just occurred to me with this talk of age I am probably the youngest 606er? No?
MrsP what are the waters like up your way? I had to abandon my trip to the cinema last night cos the police had closed my friends road. Incredibly dangerous on the way home from work tonight, as not even full beam lights pick up surface water on the road. One minute road the next I'm aquaplaning and cursing.

Glas, That's all the talk;OK very bad decisions against the EdF, but the ref is part of the game, like the wind and the rain, but when your language capacities are beaten by a SA who Knows 200 words of vocabulary more than you, and your verbacity doesn't even approach that of r.McCow, then measures must be taken

Well we live at the very top of a hill so we have been fine and I have been ill so I've not been over the door as they say!
Seems to have been bad in some places alright but I didn't hear of any problems near us.
Stag,
Every cloud and all that on the job front.
Are you sure your boss will teach them the right kind of words?

Right, the IRB have been at the Guiness again:
Player of the tournament:
1 Dagg
2 Kaino
3 Roberts
4 Berger (Namiba)
5 O' Brien
Please tell me they know the difference between Ferris and O' Brien? They don't think it's one person do they?

Not enough room for both Fez and SOB. Shame as they where both lethal for large parts of the tournament.

Fine, but Ferris was still awesome against Wales, even with Lydiate and Faletau doing a number on him and SOB. The equivalent would gave been to nominate Davies from the Welsh midfield.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
MotRWC has been Yachvili for me. He has put a misfiring French team into areas of the field they had no right to be in. Thus relieving pressure, and putting it on the opposition, wirh the help of some very willing forwards in the knock out rounds. And that more than anything got them to the final. And...so nearly le gloire.
MotM, pub wise has been Glas for keeping me hugely amused with some great comments:)

Good time for the carpet cleaners...
Just got two resumes, one from a Greek architect trained in Cardiff and a Spanish one from Barcelona - high quality credentials from both with amazing project histories. I just wish I had more work to offer.
I need to think Biggar like the Wales Rugby Union Team and raise the bar!

Morning
In the words of Richie McCaw I'm shagged. The couple downstairs were having a domestic last night. Now if people want to have a row I don't mind, just don't storm out slamming doors for dramatic effect at midnight...
Mickado - hope all's well over there. I saw a couple of those videos and it looks pretty bad. We had some rain last night but nothing on the scale of what's been had elsewhere. I think West Wales was worst hit.

Morning all, morning As,
Heino will be great, is always so, but two tough rounds of AP games to get through first. Bath (h), followed by Leicester (a). We've not beaten Bath at the Madejski since January 2007 from memory, and I'm not sure when we last won at Welford Road, so a couple of big tests for our young side to get through before we can focus on Edinburgh and the Blues.
