First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing picture of Micky T above the bar!

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Controversial try, that - but a beaut of a conversion from the touchline by Priestland. Hell of an atmosphere in the ground by the sounds of it.

TRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Magnificent. 4 tries for 5 pts?

Amazing.

Its because they are always primed to attack and have a go.

Im loving this. Away to Saints . Yer having a laff.

I fancied Scarlets to get out of this pool. Check the pool threads.

Scarlets are just like vultures on the break. Unreal. They have taken any scraps available with some aplomb.

Preistland is back running things. North is back bullying and they look so much better.

I'd say our Dreamer is going happily ballistic right now.

An absolute lesson on how to accumulate points off scraps of possession. Are Saints going out at this early stage. Mon Scarlets.

Actually that's a bit of a disservice. Some fantastic kicking from Priestland.

This is what is great about the HC, six pool games and by round two you can effectively be out.

It's whats so heartbreaking about sport and I love it!!!!

Would not be writing Saints off. 1st 10 mins of the 2nd and next score are vital. Scarlets need to hold out against a massive forward surge. And find those gaps to finish this off.

Love the HC. Man.

What a competition. Agree with Gibbo when he says Saints can win this, but Scarlets have to take it. With enough belief and the right mentality they will.

No, true enough Gibbo. Saints haven't played anywhere near their best in the match so far but they're capable of turning it on. Having said that, the Scarlets haven't played at their best yet either!

Great try by Lloyd Williams in the Blues v London Irish match. He's Wales's premier scrum half. Forget all this 'extra back rower' bullocks.

Cari, get out of the kitchen girl. Glad you had a great day. Brilliant you were able to finish it off with good friends. You will always remember that.

The only leaving do I remember was when the receivers came into a firm I was working for and shut up shop immediately. Took my car keys. I had to get Anne to come to Belfast to pick me up. Sad

Gibbo - yeah it was. Everyone's been really generous today - I had free brekkie in the canteen, then two others gave me coffee and chocolate later. I spoke to my new manager on the phone this morning and she was really nice, and said that everyone's looking forward to me starting there next week, which was a nice thing to say I thought. Never heard from my former head of department though, but I'm not bitter about that. Smile

Yeah T. Its weird. And Notch is right. 2-in-a-row is an avalanche. Hard to stop. But back on the horse after a loss and get the home wins by 5pts and always glean pts on every trip away from home.

This is what the HC is all about. Its like chess.

The bigger teams have learned the rules. Others, are learning them.

Absolutely man. Given most other people I know who graduated at the same time are on the dole its not a bad time to get more education as it turns out. And loving it. Some new stuff will be coming out in a few months from me, we'll wait and see... So I'm oscillating between being incredibly depressed about the future and very much enjoying the present. Every time I make some music it makes me feel... better. I don't know.
