First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing picture of Micky T above the bar!

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Saints really can't stop shooting themselves in the foot! That is an unbelievable passage of play, truly mental. Wonderfully bonkers. Transcendentally barmy.

Bonus point for Scarlets at Franklins Gardens? Yes please.

Saints basic passing and catching skills- no thanks!

Hate to say this but is SKY's English bias really blatant? Or is it me? Im a Clog. Maybe I don't see it the same as ye lot.

Clermont beat Aironi 54-3. I would think there were four tries in there.

Huggiebear has a massive 6.5 points from four games in week 2 of SG.

Sale Sharks won by 59-6 in the Amlin. I had them by 53 in the SG Yahoo

What a game! Can't imagine what state of ecstasy Dreamer has achieved this evening. Scarlets were just first class and am I looking forward to the match at PYS vs Munster!

Erm, did Ashton pull North's leg away from his body into a totally unnatural angle to cause him to be helped from the field? Just asking.

Luckless, how very strange that Barnes and harrison didn't seem to find it worth commenting on except in a very desultory manner Whistle The more I see of Ashton, the more I dislike him. And Lawes - ?? Barnes: (not verbatim): 'Lawes is technically excellent' ???????????????

Puma, there was plenty of niggle in the match but what Ashton did went beyond that. He was out of order telling the referee what decision he should have given after he was penalised in the first half, too.

And now we get to watch it all again!

Great win and brilliant performance. Ashton did himself no favours with his "work" for the 4th try. You're taught from U-6s to play the whistle! Well done Scarlets. Someone said to me that the Scarlets intentionally let the Saints in for a try so they could still have something to play for and maybe hurt Munster/Castres. I found it interesting and a total crock. We'll bate them in Thomond Park though!
