Since most of the general bickering comes from the respective fans of Wales and England ; I thought I would create a thread for it in an effort to keep decent rugby discussion relatively WUM free in other threads. "

It was wrong for the organisers to allow Davies to join in with inciting a post game riot - a soon to be convicted and banned law transgressor in the top category. What kind of example was that setting for young children?

To be fair with their tiny pool of professional players and pathetic resources we can't blame them for having half the team as foreigners.
It's not as if they could produce any home grown talent given the above is it .................wait a minute, what's that? Richest union? Best resources in the world? Biggest player pool by a mile?............ENGLAND?

Not in term of experience with Wales boasting 205 caps compared to Englands 129 on the bench so I guess its down to how they are used.

Wales give out caps to retiring players just so they can do a forward roll infront of a full house, the Welsh cap has lost its value hence why Ben Morgan wanted to earn his.

Ben morgan realised he'd be hard pushed to get a start for Wales with all the talent we have. However, he also knew he could walk into the England side as he plays in a much more competitive league and even our own regional players who are not even considered as second choices for Wales (like himself) are so far above their English counterparts that the RFU would take him on as in that - albeit inferior - environment he will thrive.


Why have we got this thread anyway? There was nothing wrong with the other one that was exactly the same. Shouldn't they be merged?

Morgan IS and always WAS, English.

He was never going to play for Wales otherwise he would have done so at another level, he used the Welsh to raise his profile as he knew (like most of us English fans) that players get hyped when they play in Wales, even if they are average.

Then these 'average' players by Welsh standards get into to the starting 15 for England. Sort of proves my point really.
