"OK, every year we see threads that actually contain really good rugby discussion derailed by the ongoing Wales vs England bickering and WUMMING! I will name no names. I guess we have all been guilty.

Since most of the general bickering comes from the respective fans of Wales and England ; I thought I would create a thread for it in an effort to keep decent rugby discussion relatively WUM free in other threads. "

Come on how often in this tread have we mentioned that England are the currnet 6 nations campions, beat wales in their last two 6 nations encounters, and are ranked above them? I dont think anyiones even reffered to them as the little brothers or pointed out that its not even that much of a big deal in the grand scheme of things to the english anyway.
If anything its quite humble of us to even bother acknowldging the lesser races exist

Nobbled, Wales are in no danger of losing.

However they might be:

* robbed of victory by the bounce of the ball
* cheated of victory by being forced to play in a manner that the players didn't agree with
* let down by the coaches
* sabotaged by pathetic substitution timing by the manager
* betrayed by the referee/TMO or assistant referees

And not forgetting, moral victors despite being on the wrong side of the scoreboard.

Why would they do that?
The Welsh media don't hype the England team, in fact all they do is generate xenophobic hatred.

But they are covering us, Seabiscuit - and it clearly riles some Englishmen here and elsewhere that Wales are receiving some favourable comments. Why is that? Why do they begrudge us that?

I don't mind accurate and reasonable analysis, but when it's the Welsh over-praising the Welsh based on scant evidence (as far as I can tell, your achievements run as far as beating Ireland twice in two years), it just sounds like hysterical arrogance.

That article on BBC about the huge Wales back 3.. how do they keep so fast? you have to wonder if these young lads will lose their edge young due to that size.

But right now it's a hell of a back 3. Cannot see how englands dwarves can stop it.

who'd have thought back in the 90's we'd see Wales outsize England one day. England have big guys like Banahan but they have no flair. So they've gone for these little chaps who are going to get run over i fear.

Will the bickering go into extra time ? Will the result be declared 'devalued' ? I must hang on somehow as I need to find out... come on lads, let's keep going !

We are just in our corners at the moment, between rounds. The English are putting ice on their wounds and stitching up what injuries they can. Us Welsh have put our feet up, having a some cheese on toast and looking at the horizon towards the only real challenge we ever face....that big French man with horse shoes in his gloves!

Don't you watch scrum v HERSH? we came 1st thank you! It was just some minor technicalities like losing by 1 point to France and not being able face and defeat NZ in the final, that cost us. We morally won it!!!!
