The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Belfast
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Belfast, as Red Stag is still struggling to come to terms with Munsters QF loss to Ulster
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Brian McLaughlin, John Hart, Duncan Bell, Michael Lynagh, Mick O'Driscoll, Deiniol Jones and Shane Williams.
Get well "Noddy" Lynagh - our thoughts are with you.

Just a quick note to say that i've got a clear path to the HC final should i require it. I'll keep any celebrations on ice though, must appease the mocker gods.

Thanks Asbo!
I didn't think it was fair to declare you an Edinburgh fan without at least asking you first.
Should I change it?

God bless you my child. I'm just considering leaving from Newport on the Saturday instead of Risca, so I make it up a bit earlier. Guess it depends on what time people will meet.

MickyT mailed me this morning to say he probably won't make the final. He's saving for a gaff with the missus so I can understand he's under pressure.

It's it the bit he sings nonsense before the dramatic climax.

What really confused me was the 'hiero' bit, because he (Hiero) used to play for Spain and I think it's the Spanish for steel.

So it was, Stag.
They're playing 'Summer of '69' by Bryan Adams on the radio, which was taken from his debut album, The Pockmarked Canuck.

The forecast here is for it to be as bad if not worse next week. I'm not too bothered, we need the rain. And I don't cycle to work any more.

Mick,
When we win the Heino and we are then going for the illusive double at the RDS, I'll have to go man.
I watched Toulouse v Leinster (2006) last night. This is what will happen to ASM on Sunday. We will burn, run and tear them to shreds in Bordeaux. French Toasties my man.
Keith Gleeson(Master 7) , Girv de Swerve, Shaggy (especially) BOD and Felipe, were majestic that day. "Hickie for the line! That is awwwwsome!"
P.S. Cameron Jowitt is a roide.

To think how different our team is nowadays eh…
Wasn’t Guy Easterby at 9? And Naill Ronan was the backup flanker.

Easterby was excellent at 9. Yeah Ronan was backup flanker. And a little innocent looking lad called Rob Kearney came on. He looked about 12.

Reminds me Prop. When I worked as an Operator on Nightshift in the 70's, we had this trick for waking up a very stoned Jamaican, who used always fall asleep at the console.
Id sneak up, place the nozzle of the extinguisher up his flared trouser leg... and let blast.
Man, I was so fast then. He was huge. He chased me round the Computer Room like a looney with frozen balls.
Happy Days.

Confession time.
When I’m feeling low I like to go onto the archive section on the Munsterfans board and read their running commentary on games that we won.
Always cheers me up.
