The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Gibbo's Ma and Brad Thorn above the bar!

+1.
Morning all. I'm already beginning to regret giving up my lie-in tomorrow (I'm going to the England Cricket team's pre-Sri Lankan tour press conference at Heathrow at 8.15).

Hi all, happy Friday to you all.
How are the Dutchmen this morning.
Billy - I think you lot managed to convert me. I actually cursed when I saw Darcy was named in the team. I kid you not.

Morning red.
I love the bones off D'Arcy and in fairness he hasnt been too bad this 6N but i am tired of seeing his name as one of the first on the sheet.

Swanny, hows life going.
Also just thought I'd share that I read "covering reception" as "contraception"
Billy I was just praying for O'Gara at 10 with Sexton at 12 and was annoyed when we didnt get it.
Also have to say I'm surprised by amount of injuries we have:
- David Wallace
- Sean O'Brien
- Conor Murray
- Chris Henry
- Denis Leamy
- Paul O'Connell
- Brian O'Driscoll
- Luke Fitzgerald

Morning Billy, morning Staggie, it's pretty good thanks if somewhat busy.
It's my little sister's 40th birthday this weekend so there's a few celebrations to be had, I'm looking forward to it though I don't think she is!!

red, i would go one better than that and give Madigan a shot at 10 with Sexton at 12. I honestly think that may happen soon as well

No problems with that. Even if I started ROG I would have Sexton kicking.
Was out at the gym the other day and went for a swim after. So I was getting into that shower thing they have beside the pool you have to use before you go in. I take the shower at the end and right on cue the other showers are taken by David Wallace, Lifemi Mafi, Simon Zebo, Denis Hurley and Mike Sherry. To say I stuck out like a sore thumb was an understatement!!!!
It was like a Fit v Fat contrast
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Happy Birthday to your sister then Swanny
And morning all. Just trying to get myself organised for my trip home today, am glad the weather's supposed to be nice this weekend, going to get myself walking over Mynydd Cynros tomorrow morning before all the rugby starts I think.
Save journeys to all those travelling this weekend, hope everyone enjoys themselves (don't think that's going to be hard for some people!)

This will be D'Arcys 16th consecutive Six Nations start since he appeared against Scotland at Murrayfield in 2009. I find that frankly astonishing for a player who played the best rugby of his career at least two years prior to the start of that run and has struggled to produce any real sustained form in the green jersey since then.

Hoi Billy,
Oh Im off to the game with Asbo, Rav and Hugs. meeting up with the 2 Micks and others, after the game. I'll get a little cake & flowers for her tomorrow. But the whole family are taking her out to dinner to celebrate on Sunday. In the Grand Hotel. Grand.
Rav arrives down this eve and is staying with me till Sunday. Asbo is staying with the Hugster in Ballbriggan.
Fun really starts tomorrow morn. Im sure Rav and I will have a few nerve-settlers this evening tho. Help us sleep well like...

Yeah, but will he be confident, when we take him a special club for men who wear skirts too eh?
In truth, he has a strong right to be confident. I reckon this game will be won by one score either way.

One for the wall folks https://www.606v2.com/t25522-friday-fun-wayne-mooney#1034202 (I reckon Glas will have some good ones)
I played a whole netball game at centre last night, and fell surprisingly un-sore this morning. We got thrashed by the top team, which means that if the team that was behind us in 5th lost last night we play the top team again in the semis next week (ugh), or we drop down to the Plate playoffs

Different sore Doc. Its concentrated in one place now. Right in the front of the shoulder-joint. Two days ago it was shooting-pain right down my arm and it hurt everywhere. Nerve job? Feels like Mo boxed me in my sleep. Again. I wouldnt mind but she snores too.

It's true. Every game in this 6N, all five games in the last two 6Ns and the last two games of the Slam in 2009.
And in 2011 he was as bad as any international 12 has ever been and still got picked

Nah, he was playing as badly as any of them to be fair. Couldn't catch a ball or give a pass. Firing the ball five yards behind the intended target. I still have flashbacks to it to this day.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Deccie has a blind-spot for mediocre 12' s. In fact, his whole mindset is a blind-spot. If Ross and Healy had not come through, he'd still be playing Horan & Hayes.
Bet he brings Wally back into the squad in the Summer. That would be ludicrous but I wouldnt put it past him.
