The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Gibbo's Ma and Brad Thorn above the bar!

It used be a country sheebeen back in the olds days bud. The regulars drinking built that Pub. And the owner has never forgotten it. Always has bashes & trips organised for them and gives them free beer and food. Proper. Good Karma.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I did try getting on here after the most farcical piece of refereeing I've ever seen. Our hooker is on the pitch injured and he makes us play on so Wayne Evans (our scrum half) has to throw in. Absolute waste of a refereeing course.
Still we won, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Biltong, sounds like a great move, I have a few tricks up my sleeve, but one we used proved to be incredibly effective. It mightn't work at u-9 or u-10s but it will be useful in another 3/4 years if not. Essentially, hooker throws up to 2/4, if thrown to 2, 4 comes round the corner, along the sideline, if thrown to 4, 6 comes along inside the 5 m line, the aim is to try and create either space for the 4/6 and the hooker is running in support. At the very least, you create a 2 on 1 for a simple score.
Had a very interesting chat with a lad from Uganda today, mad into his soccer, after talking a bit about the civil war, he spent 5 minutes talking about why Chelsea shouldn't have got rid of Villas Boas!
Gibbo, great for AZ. Bilbao schooled United tonight too. LOI back up again, Nil points apres deux jeux. City play Rovers tomorrow. Bricking it. It's on RTE at 7:05 if you have nothing else to do.

I have seen teams being force to play on while a guys injured. You should have 2 guys in your team capable of throwing it in. While admittedly I didn't see the match, why were the dragons forced to play on?

Cheers T. It might be as far as we get - depending on the draw for the QF's. Its a very strong comp this year. Some huge teams put out.
So you are back in LOI mode again pal? Great stuff. Up Cork! But not against Rovers roysh.
Love to see another Irish team make the Europa Cup proper again this year. The experience is great for them. Even if they lose all their games. It's still good for em and Irish Soccer.

Yes, Friday Night Lights in the LOI .I'm delighted that City are on RTE but it's a bit of a balls at the same time because I don't think the U-20s game is on TV now so I can't record it! LOI coverage is worldwide on RTE btw so when there is no rugby on like. Rovers are the only team who will make inroads in Europe at least for another 2/3 years, they are just more financially secure then others and have decent investment in them.

Current Guinness Fantasy League Standings with one game to go. Looks like it's a straight England(PJ) v Ireland(Gibbo) clash to see who is crowned champion. Good luck! Oh and thanks for playing.

Just got back in from a very strange and wonderful night out to see the Dragons won. BAM! Happy out.
There will be twists and turns aplenty. We are one point outside the Top Four and one point from mid-table mediocrity. Man I love this time of the season.

Thats why I rarely go in them! A couple of quid a month on a goals galore coupon is the limit. Talking about this in work this morning. That Brits got talent winner Paul Potts has bought a big house in Baglan that was built by a bookie. It was called 'Mugs villa' by the locals! If only I started a bookies during the tinternet boom....

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Bore da pawb / good morning all, welcome to the day before Super Saturday!
Got back from the vets last night in time for the second half - my heart sank when I saw who was refereeing, he had a stinker when we played the Blues at the CCS. Also, it's quite damning that it took our replacement loosehead to finally put Chavhanga in a bit of space!
PJ, yes, I'm Bingo Jazzhands on the Guinness Six Nations league (which has been great, Rava, thanks for setting it up!). I was going to call my team Bingo Handjob (R.E.M. have been known to play secret gigs under that name) but I've had the name rejected in fantasy games in the past.

I called my fantasy Pro12 team "Bob Loblaw's Law Blog" as homage to Arrested Developement.
There's a lawer called Bob Loblaw, his tv advert is him sitting at a desk saying:
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed?
You don't need double talk; you need Bob Loblaw
If you've not seen the show before, watch it. It's good for the soul.

Glad he finally got it, Willy.
Ozzy - nope don't think so. Drags v Blues was only on coz it was a rearranged one.
And I have decided to buy a new phone in my lunch break. The patience it takes to use mine at hte moment is more than what even a Saint has.
Now to decide what one to get....
