The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Belfast
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Belfast, as Red Stag is still struggling to come to terms with Munsters QF loss to Ulster
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Brian McLaughlin, John Hart, Duncan Bell, Michael Lynagh, Mick O'Driscoll, Deiniol Jones and Shane Williams.
Get well "Noddy" Lynagh - our thoughts are with you.

Willy - good for dieters I suppose. They think they're eating chocolate, but no, it's just a bit of chocolate filled with wind.

Jeebus, i just found out about Michael Lynagh. I really hope that he recovers well. He was pivotel in what i consider to be the best bck line in Rugby history and is an excellent pundit.

Gibbo - you sure you want to throw out suggestions like that? an innocent member of the Admin team may think you are serious, and once changed, they may not change it back

Gibbo the match has started. Early knock on. Bloondie tried to get away with it. Typical blue rascal.

Dreamer it wouldn't be an Ulster commentary if Jim Neily didn't get a fact wrong every other minute.

Great to see Ravenhill packed, to watch the 2 best teams in Ireland, before their respective HC SF's
HOW good does that sound eh?

McFadden shows why he should be playing instead of Dorce. Ripped through the Ulster gain line there. Oooh it was Locky...

Maybe so, but why was Nige allowing the Ospreys to shove when the ball was still in Rhys Webb's hands?

well uh, you know uh, Lucky uh, you know, because uh
ha I can't keep trying to type like Mark Jones speaks!
Not sure why he is Lucky, but the scrum has always been the weak point of Nige's reffing game.

The bottom line is that even if one pack is stronger than the other, it doesn't mean the rules of the game don't apply to them.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Belfast
5 m out from Dragons line, tis penalty to Drags, Brew goes to take it quick and Biggar catches him/partly trips him. Brew milks it, off you go silly Biggar.
Just didn't need to touch him.
But then the more I've seen of the replays, the less Brew needed to go down like he did. On reflection, I would have yellowed both.

No chance, Dreamer. If Biggar had let Brew go, he would have no cause to go down.

It's all about being able to sell it Lucky...if you get the hit right across the front three you can make it look like your settling in and they aren't taking the hit.......been there; done that.

That call was way to slow from Nige....you saw Adam struggling to hold the 2nd rows back!!
Awful call that yellow....that pause was way way too slow!! Just make it crouch-touch-engage.

So now Dan Way and Paul James, both binding on the arm, go down at the same time, and Dan Way gets yellow carded?!
