First topic message reminder :

Just trying to get my breath back. THREE GOLDS yesterday, taking our total to 8. We sit 4th in the table, and with any good fortune should take 3rd today on Super Saturday.......will the cyclists, rowers, Mo and Jess make it a golden one?

Dave.

Great news for Annalise Very Happy

She is a weapon, this girl has a huge future.

Got an average start but i think after the Black Flagging in the first start all sailors were being conservative, particularly ones with a lot to lose like Annalise Murphy.

But this race she has gone from 13th to 7th...!

Maurice "Prof" O'Connell, an old friend of mine is doing some magnificent commentary next to me for RTE right now... I was crying with laughter earlier with some of his comments on questions being asked by other commentators at RTE who know nothing about sailing...!

He compared light wind with big waves to the equivalent of trying to drive a 2cv through the himalayas.

Did the rowers do something controversial? Sounds like a decent morning for Team GB another gold is it? Ennis seems to be going along well although people say she is weak at the next event (javelin). Good luck to her. Don't want Chambers there to be honest, good win for him though.

Bolt won while jogging, he has a lot more to go. Keep that flag flying Annalise. Overall leader is 13th, Annalise is 6th according to RTE's twitter.

Xu is Bronze from beijing, very talented sailor in the lighter wind strength she is miles ahead at the moment. Murphy who has sliced through the fleet Van Acker is behind her.

Its bloody windy now and I think Annalise is primed for perfect conditions for her...

The Tide has changed now, before the last race the tide was pushing the boats over the start line and causing several re-starts (General Recalls).

This will make starting much easier.. Less chance of the Black Flag rule being brought into place.
