Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The pub has made its way to Pyongyang in a bid to persuade Kim Jong Un to pack away the missiles, grab a beer and watch the rugby.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Donal Walsh, Chris & the late Hannah Eaton, the retiring Marcus Horan, the recently hospitalised Schalk Burger (with meningitis), the recuperated Jacques Burger, and the three-peating ANBL champion NZ Breakers

Ever had that feeling when your primal instinct is telling you to Muppet somebody immediately, but you manage to restrain yourself to the extent you don't even raise your voice, only for the adrenaline to be giving you butterflies 12 hours later?

It's not pleasant. I think I'd rather feel PJ's guilt!

Oh yes. When you know you'd kiss goodbye to your practicing certificate if you succumb it has a sobering effect. I have been there before on occasion, but I've never felt the adrenaline pumping so long after the event.

Wow, cracking match between Saracens and Northampton. Really pleased to see Saints go through - fully deserved. And Saffacens a team I like to dislike.

Just waiting for Scrum V to come on and then it'll be an early night I expect...if I can stay awake. I've hardly watched any rugby this weekend. Sounds like I've missed some cracking matches. Hope everyone's well.

Sarries v Northampton in the AP - well deserved win by Saints. Then the London 7s.

* Falcons went through, but they play Bedford who don't want to go up.

If Bedford win the two leg final, does that mean Falcons don't go up and Welsh stay in the Prem?

I dunno - we've not had this potential situation before.

I think we'll save money and find a pub to watch it in unless any spares are floating around

Howdy folks haven't been in in a while. Just a fleeting visit to share this. Article is a bit long but you won't regret reading it I promise. Truly inspirational stuff. Young lad passed away tonight.

Bore daw pawb / good morning all, for me please.

Some great rugby played over the weekend. Leinster v Glasgow was a great match, and I've never liked Leicester much, but they really did play well against Quins on Saturday. Quins were in it for a good part of the game, but once they conceded the try at the end of Danny Care's ten minutes in the sin bin, Tigers took the game away from them. Stuart Barnes can sometimes praise an average performance to the high heavens, but on this occasion, Mathew Tait really was that good. He's so much stronger than he looks.

I really need to visit Belfast some time. Northern Ireland in general, really.

Very very sad about the passing of Donal Walsh. Remarkable fella.

I found quite a few Dublin drinking vouchers in my sock drawer the other day . Forgotten leftovers of holiday(s) past.

I had €50 odd left over from the Mogliano trip.

I'll probably do The Croke Park tour on Sunday, hangover permitting.

Just looking at Belfast to Dublin trains. Can't believe it's almost here!

MrsP, I don't suppose you're around on Sunday afternoon at all? Our flight doesn't leave until 20:15 and we have to be out of the hotel by 11:00 so plenty of time to get back to Belfast by early afternoon. Be nice to meet for a brew if you happen to be free. No worries if you're busy though

A quick look at trains shows one departing Dublin at 10.00 and another at 13.00. I will check the bus service as well and see when they are. It'll probably be tomorrow though as it's been a long day and my little grey cells are rapidly going on strike! Should be able to check at work in the morning, I'm sure I can sneak in a little surreptitious internet time...

Productive oz meeting this evening. Less than 4 weeks now till we depart. Thoroughly exciting times. As a side note if anyone has any leads for a ticket for the second test I'd appreciate it.
