First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Gibbo's Ma and Brad Thorn above the bar!

rodders - the rugby in France is usually on Canal+ or Sport+ (I think). Google 'French TV rugby' that should throw summat up.

Where's the Chef when you need him?

Actually, where's the Chef full stop. Haven't heard from him in ages.

Evening all.

Biltong - if you're about we are on Zulu Blonde from the Zululand brewery in SA. The brewer came over and brewed some for a pub beer festival. Excellent stuff!! thumbsup

Yeah, it culminated in mad passionate sex with Mrs Holybloke over the freezer - well, specifically it culminated in an ASBO as they took a pretty dim view of it in Tesco's.

Noice. Brendan Macken is the New BOD. Said it years ago. Move over Earlsy. And O Malley. zen

WTF are we going to do with them all?

I know, offload the relative WC chaaf to Munster and Ulster. Give em both a fair chance to catch up when the New Directive kicks-in. And keep the wheat at the RDS. Sorted. Spread the love.

Its the Leinster Way. It is perceived as being condescending. And rightly so. Yet, they still love us.

I dream of being hated like Munster. And being totally ignored like Ulster.

Play it LOUD PJ. guinness

Just made my SG picks for the weekend: Scotland by 10, Wales and France to draw, England by 9.

Bore da Lucky,

Weird, I looked at the draw for Wales France, I'd actually selected it along with England by 11 and Scotland by 8, but then decided I wasn't being sensible so cancelled them all.

I'm going to sort them out tonight along with my Guiness fantasy league transfers - I can feel Gibbos hot breath on the back of my neck and it's not a comfortable sensation let me tell you. Shocked

Laugh I can't say I know!

I went for the draw because I really didn't know who to tip. France haven't fired so far but I'd be amazed if they went through the tournament without having one great game; Wales seem to be too reliant on power and size and England - and to and extent Italy - have shown how to stymy us. I hope we've been keeping something up our collective sleeve for Saturday.

It was turned up to 11 PJ, the way it should be OK

I missed the boat on 6nations fantasy games and SG pools this year, must get back on that horse next year. always makes things more interesting…

They’ve started the Paddy’s day celebrations early in our office, I was greeted this morn by a gang of people in green wigs handing out a bags of shamrock. If I could smoke it I’d be much happier but after many attempts during a spent well youth, it’s not worth the rolling papers.

Morning all/Bore da pawb

Almost the weekend already, can't wait!

Met up with Stag and Penfro last night for a couple of drinks which was lovely Smile

Am I the only one who wishes players did their talking on the pitch and not in the media? I know a load of it is just journalists taking quotes out of context, but I don't see why players have to give them anything to work with in the first place. Either that or I'm just being a bah today!

I read some comments from Kearney on skysports. Was that the one were he was basically saying we were better than England etc etc?

I think Ferris comments were taken out of context but Kearney's definitely could be percieved as arrogant and disrespectful. I'm glad Kearney feels we are better but I wish he'd have kept this to himself.

To be honest I feel when a side talks themselves up like this its usually because they are lacking confidence and self belief.
