The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Pyongyang
First topic message reminder :
Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The pub has made its way to Pyongyang in a bid to persuade Kim Jong Un to pack away the missiles, grab a beer and watch the rugby.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Donal Walsh, Chris & the late Hannah Eaton, the retiring Marcus Horan, the recently hospitalised Schalk Burger (with meningitis), the recuperated Jacques Burger, and the three-peating ANBL champion NZ Breakers

It was a really enjoyable game of rugby Stag, good crowd and a beautiful evening for it, too.
Will you get feedback from the Munster fans you got tickets for? If you do, ask them if they know what happened after CJ Stander's try. All 30 players got involved but I don't know what sparked it.
It sounded it. Typical; the one game that wasn't bloody televised.
Penfro and Prop - massive congratulations on winning the championship.

Idea for a thread; the 10 most overrated players in Irish Rugby.
My estimated outcome... 600+ pages, two bannings, and £3000 pounds worth of damages to computer hardware.

Congratulations you six-fingered knuckle-dragging cousin-fecker from Castle Grim, you obviously earned it - unlike those cherry poisy-bois you waste your life supporting.
Listen to this carefully, because I will say this only once: Which charity should benefit from my £100?
Gloucester were clearly the better team this season and, deservedly, will finish above Bath in the final standings.

My enjoyment of this replay if the Scarlets gave is being severely hampered by the S4C commentary. I know you have to be Cardiffcentric but is there also a "make it blydi obvious" clause?

Both sides are guilty of not knowing how to link up following a clean break.

Just seen the highlights of the Ospreys match and one of the worst refereeing decisions ever by Elaine Rowlands. It's actually comical.

Allowed a Glasgow player to come from the Osprey scrum half position into a ruck and do a flop pass back to his own side "it's OK he was the tackler"

Really sad news - Chrissy Amphlett dead at 53. She was a real character on stage.
http://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/music/chrissy-amphlett-dead-at-53-20130422-2ia30.html
She once threw a jug of iced water (almost empty) over me at the Bluegum Hotel, Waitara in about 1985. I felt honoured!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Pyongyang
So Liverpool have fined Luis Suarez (an undisclosed amount) for biting Branislav Ivanovic. That's crap because a) he won't miss the money, and b) it doesn't hurt the club in any real sense. Yes, the FA might ban him anyway, but if the club had any integrity they would have dropped him from the match-day squad for the next few games, maybe for the rest of the season. As it is, they're saying they're happy for a player who bit an opponent (bit an opponent!) to run out for them in their next match.

That was the big international hit but I really like 'Good Die Young', 'Sleeping Beauty' and 'Science Fiction'. There's going to be a special tribute show in her honour later tonight on Max.

'I Touch Myself' is the only Divinyls song I've heard. I might have to remedy that.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Pyongyang
Sorry mate, I got sidetracked reading page after page in the "News" section.
Yeah, have a listen to some of the early Divinyls songs. They had some brilliant musicians (Rick Grossman, basist... Frank Infante from Blondie, Mark McEntee had a unique guitar style) but there was always some friction between band members. It made for a quite raw & aggressive sound early on but they also did some tongue-in-cheek stuff (not sure if that's the right description) which are quite simple and catchy. Chrissie was a real handful - provocateur, 'look but don't touch', high-risk type artist. She put on that strange gravely voice and she also had a fake girly one in some songs... taking the pi55 out of blokes of course.
